Q: Why is it called the Three Minute Egg?
A: When I first developed the product, I noticed that I experienced significant results using it only a few minutes each day. Since then I have worked with my instructors to create a series of Three-Minute Eggs-ercises which, when done regularly, can have a significant impact on the targeted areas. We’re all busy, but we all need to pay attention to the proverbial “squeeky wheels” in our own bodies. I am continually developing short routines based in Yoga and Pilates which will address specific issues. Look for them in our “Quick Fixes” section of our website.
Q: What makes the Three Minute Egg different from the blocks?
A: The most obvious difference is the shape, and the shape makes all the difference. How many people do you whose bodies are square? Traditional yoga blocks do a great job of recreating flat surfaces and elevating them so we can do more with our bodies. However, they don’t begin to take into account the shapes of our bodies and the fact that each of us have unique needs and requirements from our yoga props. The Three Minute Egg is curved like our bodies to fit our bodies. Its ergonomic design makes it ideal for people with wrist issues, and its size and shape make it comfortable to hold onto throughout our yoga practice. The Eggs become like an extension of our bodies. They don’t simply sit along side us while we do our yoga. The Eggs integrate fully into our practice, and our yoga changes and evolves more quickly by virtue of using them in different postures.
Q: Do you have studio and bulk pricing?
A: Yes! we offer discounted pricing to catalogs, studios, and even individual instructors looking to resell the product to their clients. For studio use, check out our Scrambled Eggs. They come with minor scratches and dents (which will happen within a week anyway) and are ideal for stocking yoga studios where equipment takes a beating and sometimes disappears.
