When Linda Sparrowe, editor of the Himalayan Institute’s magazine, Yoga International, asked me with high hopes and short notice if I could provided Eggs for her upcoming Courageous Women, Fearless Living Workshop at the Shambala Center in Colorado, my only desire was to find a way to say, “yes.”
Linda and I met in 2009 at a Yoga Journal Conference in San Francisco. At the time she was editing a different publication and requested sample Eggs for review. I’m terrible at following up with things like this, and so nothing more came of her offer… until recently. Cora Wen (whom I met at the same conference) recently reawakened my dormant relationship with Linda by featuring the Eggs in her YI article for Breast Cancer Thrivers & Survivors. The women in Cora’s family have all battled breast cancer so the issue is one close to her heart. Linda and Cora go back a long way.
Courageous Women, Fearless Living is a five-day retreat up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The course provides (more…)

“Throughout my adventures, travels & movement from motherhood to teaching yoga I’ve found that I always have my Three Minute Eggs with me (this has created both curiosity and humor at customs). They are integral to my practice, from creating a little more space for my hips to open, to deepening restorative poses with gentle yet powerful support behind my heart.” - Janet Stone
Music, laughter, and a journey of the heart are the values that permeate Janet Stone’s approach to Vinyasa yoga. Having transcended many layers of personal transformation, through family, travels and yoga, Janet has emerged a powerful yogi, offering a vibrant presence that’s spreading like wildfire. Describing her own practice as “dynamic, prana movin’, heart-expanding, rough [yet] tender, fluid and steady,” the energy she emits is contagious and students love her.”*
Janet’s roots burrow deep into the soil of beautiful Northern California, where she came of age on a wide-open, free-loving hippie farm. It was there that she began to develop a profound, natural connection to the Earth. The farm was a haven of warm, cheerful brightness. An equal emphasis was placed on hard work & bailing hay, as swimming naked & dancing freely.
A passion for adventure, physical challenge, and flexibility has led Janet down many paths. Life after college landed her in Los Angeles where she spent 11 years funneling her perceptive energy into television and film. Her spirit eventually broke free of Hollywood and led her to (more…)

The Three Minute Egg is excited to announce our return to exhibit at the MIDWEST YOGA CONFERENCE outside CHICAGO from JUNE 3rd –JUNE 6th. Last year we were fortunate enough to connect with master instructors Annie Carpenter and Dr. Cornell Colbert, who fell in love with the Eggs and used them in their RESTORATIVE and THERAPEUTIC yoga classes respectively. This year both teachers will be back and they are planning their classes around the ways they’ve found most beneficial to use of the Three Minute Egg®. Additionally (and I am extremely excited about this) Dr. Bahia Ohlsen will be giving a lecture on using the Three Minute Egg® in her Yoga for Fertility presentation on Sunday afternoon. Dr. Ohlsen has inspired the next generation/variation on our product, the FERTILITY EGG. These small Eggs will be very useful in all forms of yoga, Pilates, physical therapy, and back-care. More on that as it develops!
Mia Park, a local Chicago yoga instructor, will be assisting in the booth again this year so come visit!
Please come to the show and enjoy a fantastic weekend of yoga, kirtan, and healthy living. See you there!

Toronto: March 26-28
This weekend I’ll be exhibiting the Three Minute Egg at the Toronto Yoga and Pilates show. Last week I sold out of Eggs in Winnipeg at the Live This Life Expo (which I never had time to blog about). I’m pretty excited to see what happens this weekend! If you or anyone you know lives in or near Toronto, please tell them to come out and say “hello.” They might even want to buy some Eggs!
I’d like to especially thank my friend Graydon, who has been kind enough to host me while I’m here in Toronto. She and her friend, Megan (Pilates Instructor) will be helping me run my booth while I introduce my Eggs to Toronto.
See y’all there!

Alignment workshop with the Three Minute Egg in EVERGREEN COLORADO
with Lurie Nassau
to register or get more information, please contact:
lurienassau@yahoo.com

about Lurie:
Lurie started teaching yoga in 2005, less than one year after a total hip replacement. She joined the Evergreen Center for Yoga as a practitioner when it opened in January 2004. She found that hot yoga helped with pain associated with years of teaching aerobics and fitness (high impact activities), and a car accident in 1997. Following her hip surgery, she was able to rehabilitate through yoga and pilates. Lurie is certified in Hatha Yoga, Level I and in Hot Vinyasa Yoga, Level II. She applies Iyengar style principles of alignment to her teaching through the use of blocks and straps.
By attending an annual yoga conference and week-end workshops, Lurie strives to bring fresh ideas and updated knowledge to her classes. She is also a certified meditation instructor since 1975 and has practiced meditation for over 37 years. Lurie has a BA in social services, a MA in human relations, and a PhD in speech communication. She retired from teaching college in 1996 to have time for world travels, to learn about other cultures and take adventurous scuba diving trips. Lurie teaches yoga and pilates part time.
